HOW DOES SHOCKWAVE THERAPY WORK?

ARE THERE SIDE EFFECTS?

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?

The podiatrist will pass the shockwave applicator over the injured area, concentrating where it is most painful and then the surrounding areas.  While the shockwave may produce some initial discomfort, patients often feel a reduction of pain in the first 24 hours after treatment.
